About me...

I'm a photographer and writer based in Surrey (near London), United Kingdom.

I’ve always had a fascination with photographs. As a child, I loved pouring over the albums my mother put together of of my brother and I when we were little. After my grandparents died, I treasured the few old dog-eared photographs that we found among their possessions that told of stories from long ago, some never spoken between us but recorded forever in print. However, it wasn’t until I was able to travel the world via a brief stint as an air hostess that I started to fall in love with actually taking photographs myself. As I found myself in all these amazing locations, I wanted to capture the look and feel of each place through my camera. Almost ten years on, my love for photography has grown more than I could ever have imagined and as I look at favourite images of mine and of others, one thing stands out to me: the story. I have come to learn that life is full of stories, if we would only take the time and effort to notice them. And so, with every image I now take, my main priority is that I might be able to capture the story of that place or moment.

I currently work as the Content Manager for FujiLove, an online community dedicated to users of Fujifilm cameras, while continuing to pursue my own photographic projects.
